Junior Collections Officer – B2B Credit Operations Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Collections Officer to support day-to-day collections for TradePay's B2B credit product, serving mini-markets, baqalas, and HoReCa businesses across Jeddah. This is a structured, process-driven role you will be trained on professional collections practices, work closely with Credit and Operations teams, and operate within a clear escalation framework. If you are reliable, calm with merchants, and take process seriously, this role is for you.

What You Will Do

Collections Execution

  • Conduct daily soft collections: track payments, promises to pay, and settlement status

  • Maintain accurate collection notes for every merchant interaction

Monitoring & Escalation

  • Monitor assigned merchant accounts across current, arrears, and delinquent buckets

  • Identify early risk signals and flag them promptly to the Credit team

  • Escalate cases strictly according to defined rules

Process & Reporting

  • Follow collections SOPs without deviation

  • Provide feedback on merchant behavior and operational issues

  • Maintain daily logs of communications and payments received

  • Support weekly collections reporting

What We Are Looking For

Experience

  • 1–3 years in collections, credit ops, or operations support

  • Comfortable speaking with merchants and following up on payments

  • Able to handle resistance professionally and calmly

  • Basic understanding of overdue payments and escalation processes

Industry Background

  • Experience with FMCG merchants, baqalas, or mini-markets

  • Exposure to trade credit or B2B credit products

Languages — all three required

  • Urdu: Fluent

  • Arabic: Fluent or very strong

  • English: Basic working level (reading simple instructions, internal communication)

Other Requirements

  • Valid Saudi driving license — daily driving within Jeddah is part of the role

  • Company car will be provided
