TradePay is one of those ventures building the trade finance infrastructure for FMCG in Saudi Arabia. Our mission is to replace informal supplier credit with structured, data-driven working capital that helps small merchants grow, protects suppliers from credit risk, and strengthens the FMCG supply chain. We are building a new credit system for underbanked merchants where risk is priced from real transaction behavior, not balance sheets. Our model leverages supplier, distributor, and marketplace data to power embedded B2B BNPL experiences across FMCG ecosystems. This is not traditional lending this is supply-chain-native decisioning built from real commerce data.
We are looking for a Head of Operations to build and lead TradePay's operational backbone from the ground up reporting directly to the CEO.
THE ROLE What you'll own here.
-Design and build TradePay's end-to-end collections infrastructure and execution workflows
-Manage repayment reminder strategies across SMS, WhatsApp, calls, and automated payment systems
-Own outbound collections activities, promise-to-pay tracking, escalation workflows, and legal recovery coordination
-Manage third-party collections partners and build collections dashboards and reporting
-Oversee merchant onboarding operations including KYB/KYC document collection, account activation, and merchant operational records
-Build and manage the merchant support function covering repayment inquiries, operational issues, complaints, and escalations
-Design and manage dispute workflows, coordinating with suppliers and merchants to resolve issues and maintain audit trails
-Oversee merchant repayment processing, payment reconciliation, settlement coordination, and payment exception resolution
-Manage operational relationships with FMCG suppliers, distributors, force automation providers, marketplaces, payment providers, collection agencies, and KYB/KYC providers
-Produce daily collections reports, DPD and aging reports, and operational KPI dashboards
-Build scalable operational processes, SOPs, and controls, and automate manual workflows in partnership with Product and Engineering
How Success Will Be Measured Scalable collections infrastructure fully operational, automated reminder and collections engine implemented, merchant support function operating to defined SLAs, real-time operational reporting and dashboards live, reconciliation and settlement processes fully controlled, dispute management framework operational, and operational readiness achieved for national scale.

THE PROFILE You're probably a fit if…
You have 8+ years of experience in fintech, lending, BNPL, payments, collections, customer operations, or financial services operations
You have proven experience building operational functions from scratch
You bring strong collections and customer servicing experience
You have experience managing operational teams and third-party vendors
You have strong analytical and reporting capabilities
You have startup or high-growth company experience
You have Saudi Arabia or GCC experience
