Visual Designer
Sanabil Studio is Sanabil's in-house venture studio, building and backing the next generation of category-defining companies in Saudi Arabia. Alongside building new ventures, the Studio is activating Sanabil's early-stage community, a curated network of founders, operators, and partners that fuels the ecosystem we invest in.
Backed by Sanabil, the Studio combines deep capital, operating muscle, and a programmed founder community to deliver a faster, deeper, and more credible early-stage experience than anything else available in the Saudi market today.
We are looking for a Visual Designer to own the full image of everything the Studio puts into the world, graphics, photography, motion, and the physical experience inside the space, across both our venture-building work and our early-stage community.
THE ROLE What you'll own here.
Lead Graphics, Photography, Motion & Video, and the Full In-Space Image as one integrated creative function.
Support visual work across both sides of the house: Studio ventures (brand, decks, launch assets, product marketing collateral) and the early-stage community (events, content, signage).
Build and maintain a working design system: typography, color, grid, components, motion principles, and bilingual (Arabic/Latin) standards.
Design event creative end-to-end: invites, posters, signage, name badges, programs, social posts, and recap content.
Cover community events with photography, hero moments, speakers, candid founder portraits, room atmosphere, and turn around edited sets in a timely way.
Build and maintain a founder portrait library and an environmental photography library of the space itself.
Produce short-form vertical video for LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, plus event aftermovies and long-form content for major moments.
Direct on-the-day shooting: rig setup, lighting, making founders comfortable on camera.
Own the in-space experience, signage, wayfinding, event installations, seasonal moments, and founder welcome kits.
Brief and manage external printers, fabricators, AV vendors, and contractors and hold them to the standard.
Build templated assets in Figma and Canva libraries so internal teams can self-serve without breaking the brand.
Jump into Studio venture briefs when needed, supporting brand pushes, launch moments, and decks for newly built companies.
THE PROFILE You're probably a fit if…
You have 3–5 years as a designer who works across at least three of: graphics, motion, video, and photography.
You have a portfolio that shows real range, print, digital, motion, and ideally environmental or spatial work.
You are fluent in the modern stack: Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, and Lightroom.
You are comfortable on a real shoot, you know lighting basics and have shot real people in real environments.
You can take a brief, pitch a creative direction, and execute end-to-end without needing a producer or a studio behind you.
You have strong taste and clear opinions about quality, but you are easy to work with under deadline.
You have a bilingual design sensibility and can hold the bar equally in Arabic and Latin scripts.
You are fluent in Arabic and English and comfortable briefing vendors, directing on set, and presenting work to leadership.
Bonus: Experience designing for early-stage, venture, or premium consumer brands; chops in 3D, exhibition design, or long-form video; a side practice that keeps you sharp.
THE ENVIRONMENT What working here actually looks like.
Creative Ownership: This is not an execution-only role. You are the art director, the photographer, the editor, and the brand guardian, a one-person creative studio with the mandate to set the bar across community and ventures.
Quality Without Compromise: Our image is what founders, partners, and the market judge the substance against. You will have the mandate and support to hold the standard, even when it means pushing back on a deadline, a vendor, or a "this will do" asset.
Early Stage, Real Scale: We are at the beginning of something with significant ambition. The system you build now will define how Sanabil shows up visually for the next decade.
