Operations Manager
Sanabil Studio is a venture builder that blends industry expertise, technology, and startup know-how to turn bold ideas into real businesses. We take concepts from zero to launch, and when a venture proves its potential, we back it with seed funding and hands-on support to help it scale.
Miza is a digital wealth management platform on a mission to democratize access to exclusive global investment opportunities. We provide emerging high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) with access to top-tier private funds, pre-IPO deals, and alternative investments, opportunities traditionally gated by high minimums and opaque networks. We are reimagining the private wealth experience through a hybrid of cutting-edge technology and curated investment access, building a platform where high-net-worth investors can effortlessly participate in some of the world’s most compelling private funds across multiple asset classes. We are early, and we are looking for an Operations Manager who wants to build this with us.
THE ROLE: What you’ll own here.
You will run day-to-day operations at Miza, hands-on. The role covers everything between a client saying “invest my money” and their portfolio being deployed, reconciled, and reported, plus the operational machinery around it.
We are early stage, so there is no team beneath you yet and no one to hand the work to. You do the work yourself, spot what should be automated, and improve it with our product and engineering team. The right person wants to own the details, not manage them from a distance.
Dealing and execution operations. Managing the lifecycle of DPM orders from allocation to execution across multiple platforms, keeping dealing calendars with counterparties, handling residuals, and checking fees against filled amounts.
Reconciliation. Daily cash and unit reconciliations across custodians, platforms and counterparties, investigating breaks and closing them.
Cash management. Managing cash positions and liquidity, including rolling the monthly deposit.
Client onboarding. Running the operational side of onboarding: digital identity verification, document collection and suitability paperwork. You carry out the checks and escalate exceptions to compliance, who make the acceptance decision.
Custody and fund administration. Day-to-day coordination with custodians and fund administrators on positions, NAV inputs, and reporting.
Platform and process design. Working with engineering to define operational workflows in our admin dashboard and client platform: what ops inputs, what is automated, what needs manual review. You are the voice of operations in product decisions.
Running the business. Office and vendor administration, and working with our outsourced finance and compliance teams. They own the filings, reporting and compliance programme. You are their day-to-day contact and make sure inputs and deadlines are met.
THE PROFILE: You’re probably a fit if…
You have worked in investment, fund, or DPM operations, you know how to move money, settle trades, and keep a regulator comfortable, and you want to own something rather than oversee it. You are happy to do the work yourself and grow as the business does.
Specifically:

Uses AI tools in your current work to improve output and automate checks, and can show us an example
Able to write clear operational requirements for engineering and to test the result
Sound instincts on controls, such as segregation of duties and second approvals
A record of fixing a broken process, not only following one
